After many hours, days and weeks of watching audition tapes, fifteen finalists from each state were handpicked by Casting Director Jan Russ and the FremantleMedia team, to appear at the Auditions Roadshow at selected Westfield locations around the country.
Now the auditions are over, Dolly and Neighbours have been working hard behind the scenes to choose the Top 2 winners from each state.
We are extremely excited to announce the Top 2 winners for Queensland, Elliot Nimmo and Leah Musch and the Top 2 winners from NSW, John Ly and Hany Choi.
The winners from Western Australia, South Australia and Victoria will be announced in Dolly’s November issue, which hits the shelves the first week of October.
The final casting decision for the winners of the Dolly competition have been made by FremantleMedia, and the two lucky winners have been notified. They will grace the cover of Dolly magazine’s December issue, and appear in episodes broadcast to Australia in December 2008, then the world!
The Neighbours’ website will also feature exclusive Behind the Scenes footage of the winners of the Dolly Competition’s first day on set, and the evolution of the Dolly Competition.
Also, watch out for our video footage from the auditions that didn’t get through to the finals, but made a big impact on the judges nonetheless. And an exclusive interview with Jan Russ on how she finds that shining star!
