On the world stage, it’s not just the Brits who love their Neighbours, our favourite soap has scored a nomination for best TV drama in the Seoul International Drama Awards.
At the Seoul International Drama Awards, the Ramsay Street residents were up against entries from Romania, Argentina, Canada, Brazil, China and Korea in the category of Best TV drama.
Susan Bower suggested that it might be Neighbours’ sense of community that the Judges liked. Either that or “they really love Dr Karl’s singing as much as the other characters do, a close call,” laughs Susan.
“Needless to say, we are very proud to be acknowledged on an international scale.”
The winners will be announced at the end of next month.
