Eleven-year-old Feride was granted her wish by the Starlight Foundation to appear on Neighbours. The bubbly youngster, who is battling bone cancer, was written into a scene featuring Ryan Moloney and Jane Hall.
Originally it was to be a simple walk-on role but was elevated to a speaking part at the prompting of Moloney, who is a generous supporter of the Starlight. Feride was given AAA access to the make-up room, costume department and the coveted green room.
"I know Feride had a fantastic time but it was also a great experience for us to be involved,” said Moloney.
And the good news is, Feride is thriving and will once again be the centre of attention when she makes her TV debut tonight, Friday 27 March.

Usually it’s the stars grabbing all the attention, however on the Neighbours set recently it was the cast falling over themselves to meet a special VIP who appears on air tonight, Friday 27 March.
