The two finalists of Neighbours' UK broadcaster Channel Five's 'Become A Star Competition', Gabriella Darlington and Jennifer Hall, arrived at the show's Melbourne studios last week to begin their auditions with the cast.  The lucky winner will be announced on the weekend.

Gabriella Darlington and Jennifer Hall won the public vote which saw over 110,000 votes cast via the Channel Five Neighbours website.

Neighbours is viewed by over 3 million viewers daily in the UK and three times a week fans from overseas take in the sights of fictional Erinsborough on the show's official bus tour.

The winner will play Poppy Rogers, an English backpacker who arrives in Ramsay Street, and according to Executive Producer Susan Bower, will leave her mark for a long time to come.  The character will feature on air for three weeks during October.

"It's a great character and a great opportunity for an aspiring actress, we are all very excited to have the girls with us," Susan said.

At the end of the week Fremantle Media and TEN executives will choose their final Poppy who will then stay on and start filming the four-week role.

The girl's Neighbours' adventure will be filmed for a documentary which will be screened on Channel FIVE in the UK.
